Traffic exchanges, safe lists, ppc advertising, ezine advertising, banner advertising and article marketing. Now all of these methods work, but once you get your hot prospect lead you need to know how to work with them to actually monetize the lead. If you do not have a system in place chances are that you are leaving a lot of money on the table.

Typically hot prospects that you generate from paid advertising and search engines you need to first build a relationship where the lead trusts you first. If you do this correctly you will be able to convert the subscriber into a paying customer for a product that you sell.

One of my favorite methods of traffic generation is article marketing. The reason for this is that it does not cost anything to market in this manner. Also by the time a subscriber clicks on your bio and subscribes to your newsletter they will already trust you. This means that you do not have to do the hard work of first building a relationship before you sell to them. You can sell immediately to them as the chances are likely that they would have read numerous of your articles already. The other benefit is the link popularity that you create for your web site that will boost your traffic from search engines.
